Garsdale Head
Sedbergh
Cumbria

This former railway workers cottage built in the 1870's has 3 bedrooms which will comfortably sleep 6 people. It's situation high on the hillside, within sight of the famous Garsdale Station on the spectacular Settle - Carlisle railway line, affords excellent views across fells and moorland.
It offers a warm and welcome retreat for families with children, young or old or couples who simply want a quiet break

The location, approximately 5 miles from Hawes to the East and 9 miles from Sedbergh to the West makes it in an ideal position for touring both the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District

Moorcock Inn Approximately ½ mile from the cottage is the Moorcock Inn where you will get a very warm welcome from Mark and Kelly. The food and service is excellent and they are open all day for refreshments. Click on the picture of the Inn to visit their website for more information

Being located in the heart of the National Park, there are splendid walks in all directions, over fells, alongside rivers or through woods, where you will see a wide variety of wildlife.
