| The nearest major road to the cottage is the A1. Leave this at the junction with the A684 and follow the sign posts to Bedale. At the crossroads in Bedale turn right and follow the signs to Leyburn. Approximately 4 miles from Bedale you will enter the village of Patrick Brompton where the road will turn sharp left. A little further on past the church and Green Tree pub there is a disused garage on your right. Just past the garage turn right and follow the road for about 1 mile and turn left at the signpost for Hunton. As you arrive in the village you will cross a small bridge over the beck and Emberton will be found on your right. | |
